How did we come about?
“Some people think they are in community, but they are only in proximity. True community requires commitment and openness. It is a willingness to extend yourself to encounter and know the other.”
-David Spangler
It started with Inspiration…
We are a group of human beings from all over the SF Bay Area who saw and responded to unmet needs (e.g. food insecurity, isolation, lack of resources) in our communities. We rallied together, mobilized our resources, and networked to find solutions. Together, we started with just inspiration. And now, we continue with love and connection.
Board of Trustees
Our board is in charge of advancing the mission of Circle of Inspiration, advocating for more connections and partnerships, budgeting decisions, and serving on committees for special events and projects.
